Gypsum-based mortar is a commonly used building material with gypsum as the main component. It has good construction properties, is easy to mix and apply, and sets quickly to form a solid surface. Due to its relatively low cost and easy construction, gypsum-based mortar is widely used in the construction industry.
Gypsum-specific modified HPMC, model YD1005 and YD1005-1, is a new modified admixture specially used for gypsum-based mortar, such as machine-sprayed gypsum, gypsum plaster and other building materials.
YD1005 and YD1005-1 main features:
Improve plaster workability
Anti-sag
Good water retention
Large water demand
Here, we conduct a set of gypsum water demand experiments. By adding the same amount of water and other gypsum mortar ingredients, two groups were compared. The only difference was that one group used YD1005 and the other group used HPMC on the market.
It can be seen that the gypsum of the YD1005 group is in good shape and can be constructed well.
The other group's plaster had become loose because too much water had been added.
